DOT Physicals
A DOT (Department of Transportation) physical is a medical examination required by the Department of Transportation for individuals who operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in the United States. It is mandated to ensure that drivers meet specific health and medical standards outlined by the DOT to safely operate these vehicles.
What does the DOT Physical assess?
The DOT physical assesses various aspects of an individual’s health, including vision, hearing, blood pressure, cardiovascular health, and overall physical fitness. Passing the DOT physical is a prerequisite for obtaining and maintaining a commercial driver’s license (CDL).
This service is available Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm at all locations. For services needed after 5pm or during weekends, call the clinic prior to your arrival to ensure a Certified Medical Examiner is on duty.
